What is Somatic Coaching?

Somatic Coaching at The Woven Path is a space to come home to yourself. Using body-based practices, gentle inquiry, and nervous system support, we explore how past experiences have shaped your patterns and how you can reconnect to your inner wisdom. This work helps you move beyond survival modes and into a life that feels grounded, embodied, and aligned with who you truly are. Together, we'll honor your pace, your intuition and your capacity for deep transformation.

What Happens in a Session?

In our sessions, we slow down. You’ll learn somatic tools to notice sensations, regulate your nervous system, and gently track what’s happening inside your body in real time. With curiosity, and through guided awareness, we work toward healing the patterns that keep you stuck in self-abandonment, people-pleasing, or anxiety.

This process of coming home to your body helps you learn to listen to your body’s signals - what brings safety, what brings expansion, what doesn’t work for you anymore - and respond from a place of compassion and understanding instead of old survival strategies.

Why It Matters:

Somatic coaching invites you to build trust with your body. Cultivating this trusting relationship helps you rediscover your capacity to make aligned choices, express your needs, and feel more at home within yourself.

Each 50 minute session is $200

Somatic Coaching FAQs

  • What is Somatic Coaching?
Somatic coaching helps you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and create meaningful, embodied change. It focuses on awareness, nervous system regulation, and self-trust rather than pathology or diagnosis.

  • How is coaching different from therapy?
Somatic coaching focuses on personal growth and embodiment rather than clinical treatment. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but instead supports you in developing greater nervous system awareness, self-trust, and capacity for change. Many clients engage in coaching while continuing therapy with a licensed therapist.

  • Who is Somatic Coaching for?
It’s for women who have done traditional talk therapy, have self-awareness, and are ready to deepen their connection to their body, intuition, and authentic expression.

  • Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, all Somatic Coaching sessions can be offered virtually, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space. I also have an office in New Orleans, Louisiana for in-person work.
